Amy in New York says:

I’m very thankful for Freedom Debt Relief. My husband and I sought help when we realized that we were nearing $100,000 in debt, and that our monthly payments were not doing anything. We weren’t making any progress. I looked online for companies that offered help with this and began calling them. I made several calls to other companies, but I didn’t trust any of them. Their people were too sales-y; they seemed too fast, too eager.  Talking to them – the types of questions they asked – all they seemed to care about was getting my money.

Then I called Freedom Debt Relief. I trusted them after my first call.  The agent who handled my first call and, later, my enrollment – I think his named was Benjamin – he wasn’t in a hurry to get me to sign-up. He was knowledgeable and very personable. He answered my questions and, unlike the other companies, he didn’t have a high-pressure sales pitch. And I liked that when I left him a message, he’d returned my calls with right away. I trusted him.

Throughout my program, everyone I dealt with at the company was like this. They were always on top of things. Knowledgeable and helpful, and very personable. My messages were always returned in no more than a day and they always had the answers I needed.

For example, one creditor started to threaten me, harassing me with phone calls and letters, saying they were going to sue me. I called Freedom Debt Relief about this, and the agent walked me through the entire process of how to deal with them. They told me what the letters meant and what letters to send in response and where to send them. They explained just how the whole process with creditors worked and what I could do. It was very helpful.  Sure enough, soon after, the harassment stopped. Everything worked just as they said it would, and the account soon settled. I was very pleased.

The length of the programs was about half of what my husband & I expected. We were out of debt in only 18 months! We thought it would take at least 3 years! No garnishments, no judgments!

I learned a lot from the program. We learned to live without credit. It was kind of like AA for credit addiction. It also taught me how credit works and how to deal with creditors; I even settled 2 accounts on my own. Not because of any dissatisfaction with the company or my program; I just happened upon some extra money, and wanted to do it myself. And I did it!

I feel lucky to have found Freedom Debt Relief. I hear all these horror stories, things on the news these days, about how debt settlement companies just take your money and leave you further in debt. Some probably do. But it worked well for us. We’re very satisfied and I would definitely recommend Freedom Debt Relief to my family and friends.
